ハンマー＆ビット
エアハンマーは、圧縮空気でハンマー内のピストンを上下運動させ、先端の内蔵ビットに強烈な衝撃力を与えることで岩盤などを破砕掘削する打撃装置をいいます。エアハンマーを使用した掘削は、特に岩盤などの硬い地盤で威力を発揮し、高い作業効率により工期短縮に寄与します。従って、基礎工事、地すべり防止工事、採石工事、海洋土木工事など広範囲で適用されています。エアハンマーはダウンザホールハンマーとも呼ばれ、2010年のチリ鉱山落盤事故の救出孔をいち早く完成させた工法（Plan B）で採用された技術です。
